that you get the money you've earned!
- A PayPal account is *strongly* recommended. If you don't
have one yet, please visit

and get one. It's free, and it makes it much easier for me to pay you. I suggest
you follow the procedures to verify and upgrade your account to a Business
Account. Believe me, it will come in handy - sooner than you think!
The Payment Plan
- First, this is a single-tier program. Your profits will be
directly related to the effort you make to promote and sell the product(s). At
the moment there is only one product, the e-book "Learn to use CGI in Two Hours:
Automate your Website Tonight." Rest assured that there will be more products
coming soon.
- Your commission is 33%. At the current selling price of $29.97
per copy (which will be raised in the near future) you will earn $10 per copy sold
under your ID#.
- You also qualify for the commission on the product(s) you
buy for yourself, if you have an Affiliate ID# at the time you place
your order! That's like getting a rebate on a necessary business tool.
- As I mentioned in the first section, I prefer to pay you from
my PayPal account to yours. It's easy for me, and you get your money instantly. If
you are unable to secure a PayPal account, you will be paid by company check, in
U.S. dollars, drawn on my local bank. ( Be absolutely sure your mailing address is
correct! If your address changes, please notify us at once so we can update our

- All email sales receipts generated by the ordering system are
routed to two special mailboxes. These are duplicates of the ones the customer gets.
Sales are logged by a CGI script as soon as they occur. Any sales that are reversed
due to customer refunds will be deducted manually just prior to making the month's
commission payments to the Affiliates.
- Commissions for each month are paid on the 1st day of the
second month following the sales. Why? Because there is a 30-day 100% Iron-Clad
Money-Back Guarantee on the product. This means that a person might buy the book
and then request a refund within 30 days. If this happens, your commission would
be lost. If I had already paid you, I'd have to deduct it from your next commission
payment. I simply don't want to do that. For example, if you sell 25 copies of the
book during the month of July, you'd be paid $250 on the 1st of September, less any
commissions lost due to refunds.
- When you receive a payment for your sales, there will be absolutely
"no strings attached". The money will be yours. Period.
- In the near future, you will be able to see your commission
earnings online in real time.
The Bonus Plan
- Merrymonk Master Affiliates are
those affiliates who produce $1000.00 or more in sales volume in a calendar Month. All
Merry Monk Master Affiliates receive a $50.00 bonus
for the month(s) in which they qualify. The sales volume is defined as the total retail
price of all sales made under their Affiliate ID#, less any sales reversed. In the
unlikely event that a customer asks for a refund within the Guarantee Period 30 days from
date of purchase), the refund is issued and the sales is then reversed.
- The top-producing Merry Monk Master
Affiliate during each calendar month will receive a
$100.00 bonus. This is in addition to their Master Affiliate bonus
and all their commissions earned during the month.
- The first Affiliate to reach $1,000,000.00
in total lifetime sales will receive a
$50,000.00 bonus! That's right... I said a
$50,000.00 bonus !!
Order Handling
- Real-time tracking of orders and commissions is available to
all affiliates via their (password-protected) personal sales and commission reporting
page.
- All orders are processed online, except in the unlikely event that
a customer decides to mail me a check. The ordering system collects basic information
such as the customer's name and address, the Affiliate's ID#, etc., from a normal Web
form. The sensitive data (credit card number, expiration date, etc. are handled by a
secure server at my merchant account processor.
- MasterCard, VISA and American Express cards are accepted, and I
will soon have the technical issues resolved for accepting payment for the product(s)
through PayPal.
- For the customer, all transactions are secure. AVS is used to
reduce or eliminate credit-card fraud. Any suspicious activities on the part of a
customer will be noted and reported to the proper authorities at once.
Affiliate Resources
- Banner ads: I've created a few banners you may use. You'll get
access to them when you join. I plan to continue creating new banners and if you have
the skill to create your own, you're encouraged to do so. I and other Affiliates would
very much appreciate you sharing any that you have made and found to be effective.
- Downloadable demo version: I have a file containing a demo version
of the book, which you may upload to your Web site and distribute freely to all your
site's visitors. The demo consists of the first three chapters in their entirety.
Following the end of the third chapter are links to the sales page and instructions for
using the password to decrypt the remainder of the book and the bonus files that come
with it. The demo package includes the software program that will decrypt the files.
The customer can use this program to encrypt/decrypt any file. To use this resource, you
must own a copy of the book. Request your personalized copy of the demo, and I'll make it
and send it to you by email.
- The demo version can also be read online; it's linked to your main
sales page. To access the online demo, a visitor must supply their name and email address.
Once they do, they will be taken to the demo. Also, the referring affiliate will get
an email message to notify them that one of their prospects has seen the demo! You'll
get the name and email address of the prospect. You should check your stats page a few
minutes later and see whether the propect bought the product. If they continue on to the
order page, your referral will be logged. If not, you may send a follow-up message to
encourage them to purchase it. DO NOT SPAM them; you will lose your affiliate account and
all commissions if you SPAM! We do not take this problem lightly.
- There numerous ways to get free ads and other exposure for this
or any other product you wish to promote. Feel free to visit this
page and try out any of the resources you find there. Most are free to use; a few
will ask for some small fee.
- Ezines/Newsletters: By far the most successful advertising medium
available today is ezine ads. Visit any of the ezine directories and look for ezines
whose audience would likely be interested in our product(s). Sometimes you can even
get a limited number of free ads. Visit this page
for some pointers on how to promote any business; some of what you find will apply
to promoting this book.
- Mailing lists: If you have a mailing list or ezine, tell your
subscribers about the book. If you are in BB7M, MMLB, or any of the the programs that
help you build a large mailing list, advertise to your downline. DO NOT SPAM! EVER!
- Autoresponders: Free or paid (ad-free) autoresponders can be used
to send a series of sales letters to a potential customer. Always be sure you've given
them an easy way to get off the autoresponder list.
Program Policies
- First and foremost, you are an independent contractor. Promotion
of the URLs with your Affiliate ID is your responsibility. Commissions from sales
are your reward. If you write and ask for help, I'll do whatever I can to assist
you. I want you to succeed!
- SSN/Taxpayer ID: If you live in the United States and earn at
least $600 in a calendar year, I'm required by federal law to send you a Form 1099.
For this, I must have your SSN or Taxpayer ID.
- SPAM: We have a Zero-Tolerance policy against spam. Any Affiliate
who spams will be immediately and permanently banned from the program. However, I do
realize that many spam complaints are not based in fact, and that many people make
unsupported accusations. If you have been unfairly accused of spamming, I will be on
*your* side, rather than dropping you without cause.
- Current Affiliates will be the first to be notified when we
develop another product. The appropriate pages will be created, and your ID# will
be valid for use in selling any future products.
- Affiliate mailing list: I will maintaining a mailing list of the
Affiliates, so that I can send you additional resources, new products to sell, etc.
There's no need to subscribe to the list, you'll be added right after you join. You
may opt-out of this list at any time. Don't worry about getting a lot of mail from
this list; it will only be used to send things that will help you with this program
- The total number of Affiliates is limited to 400. This is for
two reasons. First, I can't give my personal attention to thousands of affiliates.
Second, I want the millions of dollars that this program will generate to be split
among the hundred hard-working individuals who will earn them and provide these
individuals with a sizable income.
- Affiliates joining the program are required to make a miniumum
of two sales (not including their own purchase) within 60 days of joining. Failure
to meet this requirement will result in the Affiliate being dropped from the program.
- After the 60-day trial period, Affiliates are required to make at
least one sale per month, or be dropped from the program.
- ID numbers are not reassigned. If you are dropped from the program,
all subsequent sales that carry your (former) ID number will revert to the owner of the
program.
- Legal Affairs: You agree as an Affiliate that any legal dispute
arising from your use of this program will be settled in the court system of North
Carolina, in the Count of Wake and the City of Raleigh.
- By joining this program, you agree to the terms and conditions
set forth in this document.
Your Privacy
- Information you submit on the Affiliate sign-up form will not be
disclosed to any third party without a court order. Period. No Exceptions. We respect
your online privacy. We do not sell or rent any of our mailing lists to anyone for any
reason whatsoever.
