Determine the Perfect Price For Your Product
- This can be quite tricky. If your price is too high, you may price
yourself out of the market. If your price is too low, people may
think your product is "cheap" and not worth buying. What a dilemma !
- There is a price point that will maximize your sales and profits,
but how do you find it ? (And you MUST do this BEFORE you introduce
your product to the market !)
- Fortunately, there is a new service that will do this for you. It's
called "Make Your Price Sell".
A custom-designed form collects price data, and you will know the ideal price
in 50 minutes ! Plus, you can try it out before you decide to buy it

Decide How Are You Going To Accept Payment
- Cash - Get Real! Nobody is going to mail you cash!
Perhaps the odd money order, but those are pretty rare. Be prepared
to take them, since they are generally as good as cash. I've received exactly two money orders in four years.
- Checks - you could simply post an address where customers can send you a
check. Problems to consider include:
- Customers may not want to send checks
- You wait for checks to clear the bank
- How will you collect on bad checks ?
- Payment services - handle the transaction electonically at little or no
cost. Sources include:
-
PayPal.com - money can be emailed between two accounts, so your customers would need an account at PayPal.
-
ClickBank.com - more versatile, but does cost money;
I've found that they give very good service. You won't need a
merchant account but they will take a percentage of your revenue.
They accept credit cards on your behalf. You can have "hop links"
from several programs feeding money into one ClickBank account.
- Credit Cards - you can accept MasterCard/VISA/AmEx/etc., if you have a Merchant
Account. There are monthly fees, software leasing fees,
per-transaction fees, etc., that must all be paid. Still,
most internet sales are made by credit card. So, it's essential that you
be able to accept major credit cards.
